01
The Invitation
It begins at bedtime.
A tap at the window, a whisper in the dark, and a small hand reaching out to a little feathered friend.
Tap, tap, tap.
Yusuf was fast asleep when a tiny sound came from the bedroom window.
“I’m Hudhud,” the bird whispered. “Come with me.”
